Request for Proposals

We are Fueling Philanthropy: a group of students enrolled in a philanthropy course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Human Ecology. Through the support of our generous donors, we will donate $50,000 among multiple nonprofits based in Wisconsin.

 

Our Request for Proposals outlines the requirements for grants and includes the grant application. Please share with others who may be interested.

About Our Foundation

Mission: To support community-based nonprofit organizations based in Wisconsin that promote sustainable growth, equity & inclusion by empowering communities.

Vision: To support impactful community-driven work based in Wisconsin.

The Fueling Philanthropy Grant is administered through the Philanthropy and Civic Engagement course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Human Ecology. We are a group of students exploring social responsibility, civic responsibility and giving practices. Thanks to The Philanthropy Lab organization and the Endres Foundation, we will provide monetary support to programs and organizations who share our goals for strengthening the community around us.

Wisconsin Connection

In order to facilitate evaluation of awarded grants, applicants must have some sort of Madison or Greater Wisconsin connection, such as a branch, chapter, or associated organization. We invite applications for programs that are implemented beyond the Midwest region including a national and international context.

Helping Hands

Funding Community Organizations

We seek to provide funding to small and grassroots organizations that are making valuable impacts in communities. This grant is intended for organizations with an annual budget of $5 Million or less, though special consideration will be given to organization with a larger budget size.
